About Us

The Hair and Makeup Studio based at Penmore house in Hasland, Chesterfield. The studio offers event hair styling, professional makeup artistry using mac cosmetics and other well known brands; Beauty treatments such as HD brows, LVL lashes, semi permanent eye lash extensions, Gel nails, acrylic nail extensions, manicures, pedicures, tinting, waxing, massage and facials.

The hair and make up studio sits proudly within the beautiful grade II listed building that is Penmore house based in Hasland, Chesterfield. The Georgian building offers a superb setting for the hair and makeup studio with its period features. The studio is bright with natural light and designed to make you feel at home.

The hair and make up studio is home to renowned wedding hair and make up artist Emma. Emma has specialised for over 10 years in wedding hair and make up, styling thousands of brides, bridesmaids and mother of bride/groom over the years. Emma has now be joined by professional make up artist Becky.

Emma and Siobhan, provide a freelance service for brides at wedding venues in and around Chesterfield, Derbyshire and the peak district. Emma is proud to work closely and to be recommended hair and make up artist for Ringwood hall hotel, Peak edge hotel, Vandyk Hotel, The Maynard hotel, Chatsworth and other wedding venues in and around Derbyshire.

Emma has become a well known artist in the industry over the years, in this time has been of bridal service to the wife of a Chelsea/England player, a model who kindly flew her out to the south of france and has appeared on BBC's Chatsworth documentary and ITV 2's extra factor, along with many appearances in wedding magazines and blogs.

At the hair and make up studio we can recreate any style you require, just bring along pictures to your appointment and we can work together to make your look perfect for you whether it's for a night out, wedding, ball, prom or any special occasion.

Both Emma and Siobhan are experience beauty therapist and offer a range of treatments in studio such as HD brows, LVL lash lift, semi permanent eye lash extensions, Gel nails, Gel nail extensions, manicures, pedicures, tinting and facials.
